If you wish to be present then yes absolutely, But it is not necessary for you to be present if you don’t want to be. We are happy to make suitable arrangements to secure the site with you ready for once the work has been completed.

It varies depending on the size & how accessible the system is. Once a technician has seen the system in person they are able to give a fairly accurate timescale.

Cleaning frequency varies on a few factors such as but not limited to – The type of food being cooked & How frequently the extraction system is being used. Once a technician attends to complete an extraction clean they will also take micron readings from inside the ducting to determine the level of grease deposits prior to cleaning. Then further micron readings will be taken on the second clean to determine the rate the grease is building up inside the system. This will allow us to provide an accurate cleaning schedule frequency according to TR19 cleaning guidelines. This can range from 90 – 365 days all this information will be provided in a post clean report accompanied by a Certification of work completed that will satisfy any insurance requirements.

Unfortunately not. The system has to have cooled down before we can start work on it. This is usually around 30 mins – 1 hour after the system has been shut off.

Absolutely not! – We are a 24 hour service and we will work round your operating hours at a time that suits you whether that be morning, noon or night.

Not only is it crucial for the longevity of the system it is a Health & Safety requirement to prevent excessive levels of grease build up, If not maintained appropriately the risk of a fire is significantly heightened. You will also find insurers require proof this has been completed in the event of an incident.
